This revolutionary design
gives all of the benefits of a hinged track in a far
more aesthetic package. What's more, the design will
allow you to achieve zero intrusion at the bottom AND
top of the staircase, making it perfect for basement
applications. This powered track moves along a single
plane up and down the stairs. It moves the track down
to the bottom when the user is going down, but moving
up from the floor (as shown) when the lift is not in
use. The same principle applies at the top of the stairs
if zero top intrusion is desired.
The track will not be available until later this year
and we will be showcasing it at Medtrade. However, we
thought you'd like a sneak preview now.
